It’s been five years since the Covid-19 pandemic which means it has also been five years since I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here relocated to a Welsh castle rather than its traditional Australian jungle location. The cast had to endure the typical Welsh weather for three weeks to compete to become the King or Queen of the castle with Giovanna Fletcher ultimately winning the crown.
The cast included radio DJ Jordan North who was the runner-up in 2020. We spoke to the presenter about his time on the show and whether or not he’d consider returning for anAll Stars edition of the show in South Africa.
Jordan said I’m a Celebrity… was the “best experience of my life” but he would never want to do it again. For the latest TV and showbiz gossip sign up to our newsletter.
The presenter continued: “Never again.
“And people said, like: ‘You had it easy because you weren’t in the jungle’.
“I was like: ‘No, we were in a castle in Wales and we were bloody freezing and it peed it down for three weeks.’
“But it was great, it was really good.”
Although after reminiscing about the good times he had on the show he added: “Never say never – but I just won’t be able to get time off work.”
Jordan co-hosts the Help I Sexted My Boss podcast with his friend and etiquette expert William Hanson. They’ll be bringing their live podcast tour to Cardiff in March 2026.
When asked if he’d ever take part in a reality competition show William joked: “No, no – I’ve got integrity.”
He added: “No, you know, one of us has got to fly the flag of finesse. No – I’m joking.
“I mean, I’ve been asked. Dancing on Ice used to ask for me every year, which is never the accolade people think it is.
“There are lots of these reality shows I’d love to do but not for it to be televised.
“What was the one we used to have where you would jump on the big balls and the obstacle course? Total Wipeout. I would absolutely love to do that.
“I just don’t need it filmed and showed to the public. Like, just to do it for fun.
“I would like to do Strictly – I’d like to dress up, I’d like to learn to dance.
“I don’t need everyone watching me.”
