
Former England cricket star Hugh Morris has died aged 62 after a battle with bowel cancer.
Tributes were led by Glamorgan County Cricket Club, for whom he achieved iconic status. The club said: “Glamorgan County Cricket Club is deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Glamorgan legend, trophy-winning captain and former CEO Hugh Morris MBE.
“Our thoughts are with Hugh’s family, friends and colleagues at this very difficult time.”
