Flights in London have been thrown into chaos due to apparent radar issues.
According to reports on social media, planes are being held from taking off and landing.
According to Flightradar24, Heathrow is most likely to be impacted the most by the fault.
In a post on X, the popular plane tracker shared: “Per @eurocontrol technical issues have closed the London CTA, affecting flights across the southern UK.
“Flights holding outside the CTA, diversions and delays are expected to mount. Greatest impact will be to Heathrow.”
Passengers on the ground have already started sharing the impact the technical issues are having on their travel.
One user on X posted: “Going nowhere as no departures from @HeathrowAirport for the last 40 minutes. Apparently ‘the radar isn’t working’ @British_Airways crew being fab.”
