FAIRFIELD — First-time homebuyers are invited to a Nov. 8 workshop at the Fairfield Community Center.
The free event is hosted by Fairfield and Fair Housing Advocates of Northern California.
Learn what it really takes to become a homeowner – from understanding the buying process and managing credit, to navigating loans, fair lending and assistance programs.
Complete the full workshop and earn a HUD certificate, required for Below Market Rate homes and many first-time buyer programs.
The workshop includes lunch and light refreshments. Fairfield residents will receive priority registration. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Space is limited. Registration is required by Nov. 3 at fairfield.ca.gov/firsthome.
