Belgian television network VTM highlighted that last week, Laurent defended his doctoral thesis, potentially achieving one of the quickest PhD completions ever in his discipline. Laurent’s doctoral research is on the cutting edge of advanced science with a focus on Bose polarons in superfluid and supersolid states, as those concepts are generally studied at later stages in an academic career.

Laurent commenced his primary school journey at the age of four and concluded it at the age of 6. At approximately age 12, he had earned a master’s degree in quantum physics, studying topics such as bosons and black holes.
