The Federal Government Educational Institutions (Cantonments and Garrisons) Directorate, under the Ministry of Defence, has announced 207 vacancies for teaching and support staff in schools and colleges nationwide. These positions are open to applicants from all provinces, including Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Most of the openings are for Elementary School Teachers (EST), with 121 positions for male candidates and 71 for female candidates (BPS-14). Applicants must have a 16-year degree in any discipline; a B.Ed. is not required.
Additional support staff positions include one Librarian (BPS-15), two Library Assistants (BPS-09), eight Assistant Librarians (BPS-09), one Band Master (BPS-06), and three Sewing Mistresses (BPS-06).
The age limit is 20-35 years for BPS-14 and BPS-15 roles, and 18-30 years for BPS-06 and BPS-09 roles, with relaxation as per government policy. Candidates may be eligible for an age relaxation of three to fifteen years, depending on the category, but only one category of relaxation will be considered per applicant.
Applications must be submitted online at induction.fgei.gov.pk, where applicants are required to upload all necessary documents. Roll number slips will be available on the same site and must be presented at the written test centers. No hard copies will be accepted.
Written tests will be held in six cities: Peshawar, Rawalpindi, Lahore, Multan, Karachi, and Quetta. Shortlisted candidates will be called for interviews based on their test results and must present original academic documents. Government employees must apply through the proper channel with a No Objection Certificate (NOC).
Applications containing false or incomplete information will be rejected. The deadline to apply is September 23, 2025. Candidates are encouraged to apply early and share the opportunity with others.
