The Frackville Rotary Club has set Cinderella’s Closet for noon to 4 p.m. March 8 at the Cressona Mall site. No credit cards are accepted. New and gently used formal dresses are offered for $20 each. Shoes, purse and scarves are also available for $1 each.
Elks Lodge 695, 135 E. Centre St., will have a ’70s dance party featuring disc jockey SoundStruck 7-10 p.m. Feb. 28 with prizes for the “Best ’70s Threads!” The cover charge is $5; People 21 and older welcome. The Schuylkill County Coalition of Historical Societies will hold its annual History Faire 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 14 at the Foursquare Gospel Church, 2300 Mahantongo St. The faire, according to an event release, is “a wonderful opportunity to connect with local history buffs and to learn more about Schuylkill County history.” More than 30 local historical societies, private collectors and vendors will have historical artifacts on display. The faire is free and open to the public.
