A HOUSING assistance initiative was launched by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) for the 1.8 million households exiting the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) next year.
“This collaboration is crucial to sustaining the progress made by our 4Ps households. As they exit the program, it is important that we continue to support them in areas such as housing to ensure a smooth and dignified transition,” said DSWD Secretary Rexlon Gatchalian.
DHSUD Secretary Jose Ramon Aliling said that DHSUD has 2,000 housing units available for the initiative, including a temporary housing facility in Pasay City.
