Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has been caught up in a new drama on social media after she shared photos of herself speaking at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
Eniola, who serves as an aide to the Speaker of the House of Representatives, shared how grateful she was to have spoken at the UNGA event.
According to the actress, she spoke at the UNGA on innovation, gender inclusion, and partnerships for a sustainable energy future.
“I’m also grateful to have attended the Future Africa Forum 2025 at The Africa Centre, powered by Afreximbank’s Global Africa Gateway,” she wrote.
“It was an incredible opportunity to connect, share, and learn alongside brilliant young leaders who are shaping the future of our continent. The conversations, collaborations, and networks built here are priceless, and I look forward to seeing how these connections spark new possibilities for Africa’s growth and transformation,” she added.
While some Nigerians congratulated the actress on her achievement, others accused Eniola Badmus of lying, claiming she was never at the UNGA event.
An X user boldly stated that the photo Eniola shared was taken at the Nigerian Embassy in New York and not the UN building.
“This is the Nigerian Embassy in New York (Nigerian House) not the UN Building. It was not a #UNGA event and she did not even speak there. The clout chasing is insane,” he tweeted.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a lady on TikTok shared a video of her encounter with Eniola Badmus at a mall.
In the clip, she saw the actress and wanted to video her, but Eniola refused and warned her against it.
The lady begged her and continued recording, while Badmus covered her face and walked toward the elevator.
