
Emergency services have raced to a luxury hotel after reports of a ‘paraglider’ crashing into the building this afternoon (December 28).
Footage of the incident has been circulating online as person on a suspected powered paraglider is seen colliding with a building at the Lough Erne Resort in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland.
Lough Erne Resort have now confirmed the incident and informed guests that despite the presence of emergency services, the hotel is running as normal.
The statement read: “We can confirm that emergency services are in attendance as a result of an incident in which a person believed to be flying a paraglider was in collision with the hotel property.
“Apart from the immediate vicinity of the incident, the resort is operating normally and bookings are not affected.
“Until the emergency services have completed their work, access to the resort will be restricted to resort guests and patrons of our restaurants.”
