
“What a gutsy win,” Drinkwitz said. “Incredibly proud of the staff and the players. For them just to keep fighting. It was really, really ugly. But we just kept fighting, kept fighting and then I thought in overtime our defense was just dominant.”
“Lots to work on and get cleaned up, but we’ll go home and celebrate the win,” Drinkwitz said. “Fight on and press on next week.”
“The defense, any time that they have my back, which is pretty much always, it just gives me confidence,” Pribula said. “… There was more game left to be played and we had to win the game. So just had to move forward.”
“We gave everything we had,” Hardy said. “We just kept fighting, kept fighting.”
“We’ve been fighting all year,” Coleman said. “… We’re just used to fighting and working hard. We came to the game knowing it was going to be a dog fight. On the road, first away game, we knew it was going to be a fight, we had to stick together and play four quarters of football.”
“I was telling the guys the whole time, we were where we want to be at,” Young said. “We ain’t running from them, they ain’t running from us. We’re right where we want to be.”
