“Disappointing to work so hard and come up short. But that’s part of life in this league,” Drinkwitz said. “Beau (Pribula) has no broken bones, but he did have an ankle injury that had to be popped back in. So, don’t have a time table for his return, but it could be a while.”
“Really proud of (Matt Zollers),” Drinkwitz said. “I thought he did an excellent job. Obviously, one turnover on a mesh read, but other than that, I thought really big. Fourth-down conversions to give us a chance. When they took the lead, to drive the ball down and score, I thought, was really impressive. The moment wasn’t too big for him.”
“You hate to see your quarterback go down like that,” Trotter said. “… As a team, we gotta pick it up for him.”
“We feel like all the goals we want are still ahead of us,” Trotter said.
“It’s just resiliency, playing the next play,” Tollison said. “They had one rushing play for 80 yards, we can’t let that bum us out.”
“A 10-2 record gets you in the playoff. It’s no easy task to win four games, but take it game by game, play by play and see where we go,” Tollison said.
