The trade association representing polycarbonate sheet producers and suppliers across Europe has held the awards biennially since 2007. The event showcases projects that demonstrate the materialâs strength, clarity, durability, and environmental performance.
This yearâs awards, sponsored by Polyvantis (Weiterstadt, Germany; http://www.polyvantis.com), is set to culminate in a ceremony at the K 2025 trade fair in Düsseldorf, Germany, on 13 October at 4:00 pm.

According to EPSE, a total of 23 projects have been submitted across three categories â” innovation, sustainability, and design.
Each entry is now live on the EPSE website for public voting, open until 10 September 2025, the association announced. Winners are to be selected based on a combined score: 50% jury evaluation and 50% public vote. The jury includes experts from journalism â” among them a representative of Plasteurope.comâs parent, KI.PIE Group ┠as well as architecture and academia. The experts will be scoring projects on criteria such as originality, environmental impact, and creative use of polycarbonate.
âThe EPSE Awards are more than recognition,â said an EPSE spokesperson. âThey are a showcase of whatâs possible with polycarbonate.â
