January 15, 2026 – Undefined Labs is pleased to announce a collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team to support and accelerate the institutional adoption of Ethereum in Korea.
Through this collaboration, the Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team and Undefined Labs will work closely with leading Korean financial institutions to strengthen understanding of Ethereum’s core technology and its role as a financial infrastructure layer. The initiative reflects a shared commitment to bridging traditional finance and blockchain through education, research, and real-world use cases.
Korea is entering a critical phase in its digital asset journey. In recent months, the Korean government has taken a more constructive stance toward blockchain and digital assets, establishing clearer regulatory frameworks to support institutional participation.
Discussions around KRW-backed stablecoins are gaining momentum in the National Assembly, while major banks, securities firms, and asset managers are actively exploring Ethereum-based solutions, including real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, stablecoin infrastructure, and onchain financial products.
Recognizing this momentum, the Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team is collaborating with Undefined Labs — Korea’s leading blockchain research and education firm — to launch a structured onboarding and education initiative tailored specifically for Korean institutions.
As part of this collaboration, the Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team and Undefined Labs will co-host an institutional seminar titled:
“Connecting Korean Financial Institutions to Ethereum: A Gateway to Institutional Adoption”
Scheduled for early April, the seminar is designed to bridge the knowledge and execution gap between traditional finance and the Ethereum ecosystem.
The program will focus on practical, institution-oriented insights rather than technical demonstrations, covering:
The Ethereum Foundation Enterprise Team supports institutions as they evaluate and adopt Ethereum as open financial infrastructure. We help bridge traditional finance requirements with the Ethereum ecosystem through education, technical orientation, and ecosystem connectivity. We do this alongside practical planning support such as adoption roadmaps, best practices, and go-to-market considerations.
We cover topics including stablecoins, tokenized assets, onchain market structure, and privacy for compliant privacy, drawing on the work of the Institutional Privacy Task Force (IPTF).
In Korea, the team will work with Undefined Labs to deliver a structured onboarding pathway that turns institutional interest into informed execution.
Founded in 2021, Undefined Labs has established itself as one of Korea’s most influential blockchain research and education organizations. The firm has published over 600 research papers and has consistently focused on delivering accurate, practical blockchain education to both retail users and institutional stakeholders.
Undefined Labs has also provided blockchain education programs for leading Korean financial institutions, including major asset managers and banks, and serves as a key bridge helping Web2 institutions responsibly onboard into Web3.
Beginning in 2026, Undefined Labs will further expand its institutional education initiatives through ongoing collaboration with the Ethereum Foundation.
This collaboration marks an important milestone in introducing Ethereum to Korea’s institutional financial sector. By combining the Ethereum Foundation’s global ecosystem expertise with Undefined Labs’ deep local market understanding, the initiative aims to create a sustainable pathway for institutional adoption aligned with regulatory, operational, and business realities.
