The former editor of a regional daily has taken up a new role with Channel 4.
Joseph Keith has started work as digital news editor at ITN after leaving the Yorkshire Evening Post in the summer.
Joseph, pictured, had spent 11 years at the YEP and associated titles, holding roles in icluding head of news and deputy editor before being appointed editor in May 2022.
No announcement has been made about his replacement but Sarah Hall is listed on the paper’s website as its print editor.
Posting on LinkedIn, Joseph said: “I’m really enjoying being involved in such a big news operation and looking at the agenda through a different lens.
“There’s a staggering breadth of journalism experience and knowledge.
“There’s plenty to learn and I’m looking forward to building on my expertise and developing new skills.
“The best bit? I’ve gained a whole host of brilliant new colleagues – including a couple of familiar faces – who have been so welcoming and helpful.”
