Residents in Edinburgh are to be hit with three days of winter showers.
Forecasters predict snow and sleet is set to fall over the capital from Wednesday November 19 until Saturday 22.
Edinburgh Live previously reported how temperatures were due to plummet to 0C and it is now believed the freezing temperatures will bring a flurry of icy weather.
BBC weather states sleet is due to fall from midnight on Wednesday with showers lasting throughout the morning until 11am.
A slight reprieve will last throughout the early afternoon however the sleet will return at 3pm until 9pm when it is expected to turn into snow throughout the night.

Snow is expected to fall through into Thursday November 20, with meteorologists predicting it will cease at around 6am when cloudy skies appear above the city.
Rain will briefly impact Edinburgh from noon until 2pm before sleet showers return and last up to 9pm.
Snowfall is due to last from 9pm until 11pm before it returns to sleet overnight into Friday 21 morning.
From 10am on Friday the sleet will die away and turn into rain before reverting back at 9pm.
