Edinburgh is set to welcome a luxury retailer, opening up in the ‘elegant’ Assembly Rooms.
Dubarry of Ireland will be launching at 54 George Street, offering up boots, clothing, leather goods, scarves and ‘timeless gifts’. Additionally, they’re selling interiors like antique furniture and vintage rugs.
Dating back to 1937 in Ballinasloe, County Galway, the brand is known for their ‘expert craftsmanship’. Coming from humble beginnings, they ‘only make the most high-quality goods inspired by tradition’.
The shop will be opening up at the end of September.
A spokesperson for the brand said: “Already established with retail outlets in London, Cheltenham, and Dublin, Dubarry’s expansion into Scotland represents a strategic and natural progression to a region where there is an increasing demand with a growing customer base. As well as its Irish HQ, Dubarry has subsidiary operations, supporting its wholesale and online business, in Oxford (UK), Utrecht (Mainland Europe) and Pennsylvania (USA).
“Known for high-quality boots, clothing, and accessories tailored to both country and sailing environments, the brand anticipates a strong resonance with Scottish shoppers engaged in outdoor pursuits. Dubarry’s Edinburgh store is poised to become a destination for those seeking investment-quality pieces that expertly fuse heritage craftsmanship with outdoor performance.
“As a regular exhibitor at the Royal Highland Show every year, this opening underscores the brand’s commitment to timeless style perfectly suited for life in the Scottish landscape. Buy Better Last Longer!”
