An Edinburgh man is in hospital after a ‘stabbing’ near a McDonald’s on Sunday morning.
Around 8.40am on November 16, police rushed to London Road, in the Meadowbank area, after reports of a disturbance.
Officers confirmed one male was taken to hospital for treatment. A 30-year-old man has been arrested and inquiries are ongoing.
Locals report seeing a large emergency response in attendance for a number of hours with the entrance to Lower London Road taped off.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 8.40am on Sunday, 16 November, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance on London Road, Edinburgh.
“One man was taken to the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh for treatment.
“A 30-year-old male has been arrested in connection and enquiries are ongoing.”
