Edinburgh Airport has released incredible footage of a suspected meteor burning through the sky.
Captured shortly before 1am on Thursday July 3, the short CCTV clip posted to X and Facebook shows the ‘meteor’ travelling at exceptional speed over the travel hub.
In their post, they said: “Did anyone else catch that meteor last night?
“Our CCTV cameras caught glimpses of it above the airport.
“Or should we say air-space?”

People flocked to the comments section on Facebook to share their own experiences of witnessing the ‘meteor.’
One said: “Yeah we saw it and it knocked our WiFi out so had to reboot our security cameras this morning
“Pretty awesome.”
Another added: “Apparently there were falling world wide..Saw them in US…about same time..”
