
The East Coast Railway (ECoR) organised the Vendor Development Meet – 2025 in coordination with the Micro, Small & Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) Development & Facilitation Office (DFO), Ministry of MSME, Cuttack.
The programme focused on enhancing participation of Micro and Small Enterprises (MSEs) in Railway procurement, disseminating awareness on government policies, and strengthening vendor-Railway engagement.

The event was graced by P.K. Gupta, Joint Director & Head of Office, MSME-DFO. Key sessions were addressed by senior officials, including Prem Narayan, Principal Chief Materials Manager/ECoR, Girija Shankar Dash, Alok Singh, and Purushottam Sethi. The deliberations highlighted procurement policies, tendering processes, digital platforms, vendor growth opportunities, and special facilities extended to MSEs.
The meet saw active participation from 61 vendors, comprising 38 Micro and 17 Small Enterprises, including 19 women-led units and 3 enterprises owned by members of the Scheduled Caste community.
