Homeowners are singing the praises of this ‘gorgeous’ duvet set that’s been dramatically reduced in Dunelm’s New Year sale. The Catherine Lansfield Songbird Reversible Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set is being described as something that will ‘look stunning on’.
Available in two shades – blush (pink) or sage (green) – the Catherine Lansfield Songbird Reversible Duvet Cover and Pillowcase Set offers versatility for any bedroom. Single sets have dropped from £16 to £12.80. The double size was previously £22 and now costs £17.60. King-size bedding has fallen from £27 to £21.60.
Dunelm says the set ‘infuses new life into bedroom decor with its elegant design’. Made from a mix of cotton and polyester, it has a subtle floral and bird design as Birmingham Live reports. Boasting a 4.9-star rating on Dunelm’s website, the set has won over shoppers, with some saying it adds something to their otherwise plain room.
One shopper said: “I chose this design as I already have a Catherine Lansfield rug in another room and really like it. Also, I have never been able to have a printed duvet cover before (we are in a new house), and this brings a bit of decoration to my otherwise plain room.”
Another added: “Great cotton quilt set which has washed and ironed lovely. Background colour is more of a grey colour than I expected, but nice, and the reverse will be a refreshing alternative in the summer months.”
Another shopper already owns a set from the designer, but bought another because of the quality. They said: “This is the second duvet set from Catherine Lansfield I have bought and found them to be of very good quality.”
One shopper did share, however, that the colour wasn’t as they thought it would be from the picture. As they explained: “The colour was a lot greyer than I expected, but I liked the design.
“The most disappointing thing was having washed it before use, one of the seams came apart. But having said that, it was not an expensive item.”
