Dunelm has recently launched a new Teddy Mattress Topper designed to keep you cosy and warm during the winter months. What’s more, is it’s reversible, meaning you can swap it back to the cooler side during the summer.
The topper is priced at £18 to £30, depending on the size you go for, with single, double, king, and king sizes available. It features hollowfibre filling for ‘extra support’ with elastic corner straps to provide a secure fit to your mattress.
Shoppers have said it’s “like sleeping on a cloud”, particularly enjoying the reversible feature ensuring year-round use. One buyer was “so impressed”, they’ve since gone on to buy one for every bed in the house.

However, there’s plenty of other options to consider. Next sells the Cosy Fleece Reversible Mattress Protector which starts at £20 for the single, ranging up to £40 for a super king. This protector offers a thinner layer for those who just want the comfort from their original mattress.
Similarly, Argos stocks the Silentnight Super Snuggly Mattress Protector which ranges from £20 (single) to £32 (super king), offering a slightly cheaper choice for larger sizes.
Alternatively, you could go for a teddy sheet like this new one available at Dunelm. Starting at £12, ranging up to a £17 super king, the Teddy Bear Fitted Sheet is available in a wide selection of colours, including seasonal options such as fawn, redwood, ochre, and sage.
On the Dunelm website, love for the new Teddy Mattress Topper is pouring in. Overall, it’s earned a high 4.8/5 star rating with over 270 customer reviews.
One shopper Gina said: “This is so soft and cosy I’ve put it under the mattress protector straight on the mattress but it still feels warm and cosy and so soft, feels like sleeping on a cloud.”

However, a few customers have mentioned the topper fitting too small for their beds. One buyer of the king size said: “I have purchased these in the past they were much thicker and better quality. The king size is far to small for the bed – so I’m returning it.”
Another customer said: “Poor sizing. Far too small for a single. Perhaps sizing could be adjusted there have been enough adverse comments. Quality of topper good, soft and fluffy.”
