Dubliners will face significant disruptions to their weekend commute as a number of DART and Luas services will be suspended this weekend.
Engineering works will take place between Grand Canal Dock and Greystones on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, 14 September. This means there will be no train service between Grand Canal Dock and Greystones.
Irish Rail said DART services will only operate between Malahide/Howth and Grand Canal Dock stations. Dublin Bus will accept valid rail tickets on services between closed stations.
The following stations will be closed for train services:
Lansdowne Road Sandymount Sydney Parade Booterstown Blackrock Seapoint Salthill and Monkstown Dun Laoaghaire Glenageary Dalkey Killiney Shankill Woodbrook Bray
Meanwhile, Luas stops between Red Cow and Tallaght/Saggart will be closed on Saturday September, 13 and Sunday, September 14 due to engineering works.
Trams will run between Connolly and Red Cow only. Replacement buses will run approx. every 15 mins in the affected area with some restrictions due to limited bus set down areas. Green Line services will not be affected by these works.
Luas Red Line services between Connolly and The Point Stop will remain closed for several weeks following damage caused by the recent fire in the Docklands area of Dublin city. A replacement bus service is serving the affected Luas stops while works and assessments continue.
