Dubai-based Emirates and flydubai airlines will equip all their planes with free Internet from the Starlink satellite network owned by American entrepreneur Elon Musk, according to press releases from both airlines.
The Internet from Starlink will be used both for on-board entertainment systems and on passengers’ personal devices. It is noted that wi-fi will be free for all classes of service and will not require registration in airline loyalty clubs.
