Over the weekend, pump.fun livestreamers went viral after playing what appeared to be an unreleased track from rapper Drake’s upcoming album, all in a bid to hype their token. A video clip shows the two streamers sitting in the backseat of a car, listening to what they claim is a “never-before-heard” song.
“This is the first time this song has ever been played,” one streamer said.
“Buy f**king BAGWORK right now!” shouted the other.
The two streamers were seen jamming to the track in white t-shirts, each emblazoned with the name of their token, BAGWORK on Solana, written in bold marker. The clip quickly went viral across social media, even catching the attention of Aubrey “Drake” Graham, who was reportedly surprised that two teenagers had leaked his song on a meme-coin livestream.
According to Rolling Stone, Drake called into Adin Ross’s Kick stream to identify the leakers. Initially, Ross thought it might be one of Drake’s unconventional music-release tactics—but Drake denied it.
“I don’t even know who the f**k those kids are,” Drake told Ross over the phone.
“What, you actually don’t know who those kids are?” Ross asked.
“I just asked you who they are. What the f**k?” Drake snapped back.
The BAGWORK streamers later claimed that Ross had messaged them, asking how they got the unreleased track. They told him to join their stream if he wanted answers—but, according to the duo, Ross never responded.
Drake’s impact on the BAGWORK meme coin
Within two days of the livestream, the token’s value skyrocketed. BAGWORK surged nearly 3,000% in less than 24 hours, with its market cap jumping from under $5 million to a peak of $53.8 million.
Charts showed the token climbing from around $0.001 to over $0.05 at the height of the hype, as trading volume spiked and speculators rushed in.
However, the rally was short-lived. Just two days after the surge, BAGWORK plummeted over 80%, now trading near $0.0095 with a market cap of roughly $10.3 million.

Data from Pump.fun shows that the account behind the BAGWORK token has launched a dozen other tokens, with a Solana balance of $20,100. However, creator fees from BAGWORK have dropped sharply since the Drake leak, falling from $83,410 to around $35,300 within 24 hours.
The livestreamer duo isn’t new to using stunts to promote their tokens. Before the Drake incident, they claimed to have leaked songs from artists like Future, Lil Uzi Vert, and Playboi Carti.
Just last week, one of the BAGWORK developers even stormed the field during a Los Angeles Dodgers game to hype the token.
