Donald Trump’s official crypto wallet balance is deteriorating by the second, slumping below $1 million for the first time since tracked. Since Arkham Intelligence started tracking Donald’s account, a flurry of gifts from fans have arrived, mostly in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFTs) or low-cap meme coins.
TRUMP Coin Price Crash Takes Multiple Millions In Hostage
Naturally, the main token that consumed most of the balance pie is Donald Trump’s signature Official Trump (TRUMP) coin, of which he owns 579.29K. Quickly towering to prominence on Inauguration Day, it’s been nothing but a downward slope for TRUMP coin since the $73 peak. Then, the global trade shenanigans & geopolitical uncertainty had taken its toll on the token & the broader markets.
Aside from the TRUMP coin, the presidential crypto portfolio is typically dominated by a hefty portion of Ether (ETH), but the recent cash-outs had left only $19.09K worth of ETH on-balance.
Right now, most of the previous altcoin holdings are wiped out or dramatically slimmed, while Trump’s crypto portfolio is dominated by a low-cap meme coin, portraying an obese frog with a MAGA hat.
Trump’s Wallet Dwindles From $15M To Below $1M In a Year
Ostensibly, the tracked crypto wallet also got 50K of World Liberty Financial (WLFI) tokens, stemming from the Trump family’s venture into decentralized finance (DeFi). Despite the altcoin garnering attention at first, the 35% drop in 30 days didn’t help Trump wallet’s case, valued at $15 million during the late 2024 bull rally.
Intriguingly, the crypto skeptic-turned-bro United States President still holds a very uncanny selection of meme coins. TROG, his largest holding, currently contains 45% of Donald Trump’s total crypto stash. At 210.35 billion coins held on-balance, the TROG meme coin isn’t listed by any major exchange, nor it has a steady volume.
