
Donald Trump is back to save the world again – saying he is certain he can solve the Afghanistan-Pakistan crisis “very quickly.” The Orange Manbaby made the claim as peace talks between the warring neighbours entered day two.
Speaking on Sunday the US leader confidently said: “I heard that Pakistan and Afghanistan have started up. But I’ll get that solved very quickly.”
Afghanistan and Pakistan both say they are responding to aggression from the other during clashes that started at the beginning of October. The fights have been the deadliest fighting between the neighbouring countries in several years, marking a low point in relations.
Pakistan chiefs say Afghanistan have turned a blind eye to militants who regularly cross the border to attack, something Afghanistan leaders say is untrue.
