The latest Lotto jackpot from Wednesday’s National Lottery saw a £8,655,122 prize pot up for grabs. The winning Lotto numbers were 5, 25, 43, 45, 47 and 55, with the bonus number 58.
One lucky ticket-holder has scooped the £8.6m prize in tonight’s Lotto draw. The winner matched all six main numbers to claim the full £8,655,122. It is the second Lotto jackpot win this month, following a £7.3 million prize on August 9.
No-one won the £1 million prize for matching five numbers and the bonus ball. Saturday’s estimated jackpot is £3.8 million.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, said: “Amazing. It’s been an exciting night for Lotto players as one lucky ticket-holder has won tonight’s amazing £8.6 million Lotto jackpot prize.
“This is the second Lotto jackpot win this month following a £7.3 million win on August 9.
“Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are tonight’s lucky winner.”
Mr Carter added that the National Lottery raises around £30 million every week for good causes, with more than £50 billion generated since it launched.
Winning The National Lottery is a moment that can change the winner’s life forever. Whether it is a modest windfall or a multimillion-pound jackpot, Allwyn – the operator of The National Lottery – said they ensure every winner is guided through a “secure, supportive, and confidential process” so that they can start to enjoy their good fortune as quickly as possible.
From the moment a winning ticket is confirmed, Allwyn said a dedicated team of winners’ advisors steps in to provide or provide access to a whole range of emotional and practical services. This ranges from expert guidance to emotional support and access to professional financial advice.
Mr Carter added: “Everyone dreams of that huge win when they buy their National Lottery ticket – and for those lucky enough to experience it, we’re here to make sure it’s a positive and secure journey. From financial advice to emotional support, our role is to help winners take control of their new future with confidence.”
