DeepNode AI has announced a major infrastructure upgrade, selecting LayerZero as the official provider for its cross-chain bridge. This strategic integration enables the seamless transfer of SDN (DeepNode’s native token) between Ethereum and BNB Chain, effectively unifying the liquidity of the crypto world’s two most critical ecosystems.
The new bridge is built on LayerZero Core, leveraging its Ultra Light Node architecture alongside decentralized oracles and relayers to secure messages between chains. Unlike traditional bridges that often rely on fragmented or insecure “wrapped” token standards, this implementation ensures data integrity and asset uniformity.
This “omnichain” approach allows users to move SDN assets instantly. A user can tap into Ethereum’s deep DeFi liquidity pools for lending or yield farming, and then bridge to BNB Chain to utilize SDN for high-frequency, low-fee AI model payments or gaming applications – all without leaving the DeepNode interface.
For DeepNode AI, this is more than just a technical update; it represents a pivot from a standalone AI infrastructure project to an issuera issuer of a liquid on-chain asset. By breaking down the walls between Ethereum and BNB Chain, DeepNode is positioning SDN as a universal utility token capable of powering hybrid AI-DeFi dApps.
“We are moving from siloed networks to a global asset class,” the project indicated. The bridge allows developers to build applications where SDN flows freely to where it is most needed, increasing Total Value Locked (TVL) and market efficiency.
The collaboration further cements LayerZero’s status as the undisputed leader in interoperability for 2026. Already powering critical infrastructure for giants like Stargate, Trader Joe, and Core DAO, LayerZero now supports over 70 chains (including Avalanche and Polygon). For DeepNode, tapping into this battle-tested network provides the reliability and censorship resistance necessary to scale SDN adoption to a global audience.
