Return to Paradise actress Anna Samson plays Mackenzie Clarke in the Australian Death in Paradise spin-off.
In a new interview with Reach PLC and other press, the star opened up about what it was like returning for series two and reflected on the similarities between her character and another detective from Death in Paradise.
When asked about how her character shares similar characteristics to Kris Marshall’s Humphrey Goodman and how “awkward” they both are, Anna beamed, “That is a great compliment.
“I reference Kris Marshall’s interviews quite a lot because I’ve watched the show for the acting and those detectives.
“But I also watch how they speak about the show, their insights into the show, because it’s useful.”
