DeMarvion Overshown celebrated Father’s Day weekend in a special way.
The Dallas Cowboys linebacker and his fiancée, Alexis Babino, announced the birth of their second child over the weekend. According to an Instagram post from Overshown, baby No. 2 was born on June 13.
“Couldn’t have asked for a better Father’s Day weekend!” Overshown wrote on social media. “Another addition to the LEGACY has arrived!”

The couple named their baby Texas Lee. Overshown and Babino welcomed their first child, DeMarvion Jr., in September 2022.
Overshown has enjoyed an offseason with plenty of positive developments. He announced his engagement to Babino in March, posting photos from Hawaii.

Overshown is looking to get back to full strength after sustaining a serious knee injury during the 2024 season. The former Texas Longhorn tore the ACL, MCL and PCL in his right knee during a game against the Cincinnati Bengals.
He told reporters in May that his goal was to return for the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day game against Kansas City on Nov. 27.

“It’s definitely realistic,” he said. “I’m pretty sure that game is Week 13, oh come on now. It’s hard to speak on. I’m thinking doing it the smart way, maybe start [training camp] on PUP, maybe not, if I’m feeling great. I’m going to let Britt [Brown], the magic man, do the work. I’m just going to come up here grind like I’m playing tomorrow. So best believe, I’m working as if I’m suiting up tomorrow.”
