Following a landmark year of engagement and artistic excellence, the Dairy Arts Center is excited to announce that applications are now open for the 2026 Co-Production Program, a unique initiative designed to amplify emerging, underrepresented, and innovative voices in the performing arts. This program provides selected artists and groups with access to professional theatrical venues, production stipends, technical support, and a collaborative revenue-sharing model to minimize financial risk.
Launched in 2024, the Co-Production Program has already made a significant impact on Boulder’s cultural landscape. “We were blown away not just by the number of applications we received for the 2025 season, but by the sheer creativity, originality, and relevance of the projects submitted,” said Shay Wescott, Development Manager at the Dairy Arts Center. “It’s incredibly exciting to witness the range of artistic voices rising in our community — and this program gives them the platform and tools to flourish.”
The application window for 2026 co-productions is now open at thedairy.org/coproductionprogram. Performances must take place at the Dairy Arts Center between July 1, 2026, and June 30, 2027. Applications are due by September 30, 2025. Finalists will be selected by a community panel of diverse artistic experience, with selected applicants announced in December.
As the Dairy invites artists to imagine their 2026 productions, it also proudly promotes the six inspiring co-productions premiering in the 2025 season:
