Half-term visitors to Lakes Aquarium are being offered one final chance to enjoy the playful antics of the three young otters.
They are set to embark on an “exciting new chapter” as they move to their new home at Blackpool Zoo.
The pups, who have been a delight for both families and wildlife lovers, will soon return with their mother to a newly renovated enclosure at the zoo.
This move marks the next stage of their development.
Although the pups will be missed, the aquarium’s two resident adult otters will continue brightening guests’ days with their curious and lively personalities.
A spokesperson for the Lakes Aquarium said: “This final opportunity to see the pups promises to be a memorable experience for families and wildlife lovers alike.
“We encourage visitors to come along, learn more about our otters, and celebrate this special moment before the pups head off to their new home.”
There are two scheduled otter talks and feeding sessions daily, at 11.45am and 2.30pm, but these cheeky residents make their presence felt throughout the day.
Residents within LA and CA postcodes can enjoy a 30 per cent discount by presenting proof of address on arrival.
This offer extends to the Lakeside and Haverthwaite Steam Railway and Windermere Lake Cruises.
