The Calendar and Diary, brought out annually by the Department of Information & Public Relations, highlight important landmarks, cultural heritage, developmental initiatives and key achievements of the UT besides serving as an important reference and documentation tool for government functioning. Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Secretary appreciated the efforts of the Department of Information & Public Relations in effectively documenting and disseminating information related to government policies, programmes and achievements. He underscored the crucial role played by the department in strengthening transparent communication between the government and the public, and in showcasing the socio-economic and developmental progress of Jammu and Kashmir.
