A downward tendency has been observed in the cryptocurrency market over the past 24 hours, with selling pressure intensifying across major digital assets, APA-Economics, citing the CoinMarketCap platform.
Bitcoin fell by 2.56% to $68,467. Ethereum recorded a sharper decline of 6%, dropping to $1,959.
Other leading assets in the market also posted losses. XRP decreased by 6.08% to $1.45, while BNB fell by 3.54% to $613. Solana declined by 4.46% to $85. The biggest loss was recorded by Dogecoin, which dropped by 12.28% to $0.10.
Stablecoins Tether and USDC remained unchanged, holding steady around $1.
Analysts explain the market decline by investors pulling back from riskier assets amid tightening expectations regarding interest rates in the United States, as well as increased profit-taking following gains made in recent days. At the same time, uncertainty in global financial markets and regulatory risks have contributed to a more cautious stance in the cryptocurrency market.
