A court case has been opened against Faezeh Rafsanjani, the daughter of former Iranian President Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani, APA reports, citing Iranian media.
The reason for this was Faezeh Rafsanjani’s speech regarding her father’s death.
Faezeh Rafsanjani claimed that her father was assassinated because he stood by the people and criticized the government’s policies.
Following this claim, the Iranian Ministry of Justice filed a case against the former president’s daughter, and Faezeh Rafsanjani was summoned to court to clarify her views.
Note that Ali Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani was the president of Iran from 1989 to 1997. Although it is reported that Rafsanjani died of a heart attack, his family is skeptical about this.
