
WASHINGTON (TNND) — There has been a clear win for parental rights — and a setback for the school district – when the Supreme Court ruled in favor of Maryland parents, who sued the Montgomery County Public School District to have their children opt-out from public school lessons using LGBTQ+ story books.
The Supreme Court made it clear that parents are in control of what their read and learn regardless of what type of school they attend,” Erika Donalds, who is the chair of America’s First Policy Institute’s Center for Education Opportunity, told The National News Desk’s Angela Brown Wednesday during a one-on-one interview.
