I’ve learned during the last four years a lot about how the city runs, and how important the relationships are between council members, administration, industry and Indigenous people.
I believe we’re just getting started with the relationships we’ve built and getting things done, whether it’s streamlining planning and development or our relationships with industry and even administration.
The relationship with council administration has been torn. I don’t think there’s been any work to try and make things better, I believe things have gotten worse. I personally have built a great relationship with the administration and believe we’ve made some great headway.
