
ATTOCK – Deputy Director EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) Attock Dr. Rabia Nosheen has said that under the vision of the Chief Minister Punjab, many steps have been taken to control environmental pollution across the district, aimed to reduce air pollution, industrial emissions, smoke from brick kilns and the use of plastic. Emphasis was placed on adopting modern eco-friendly technology (zigzag technology) for industries and brick kilns so that the emission of smoke and harmful gases could be prevented and minimised and other coordinated measures are being taken across the district. She said this while talking to journalists. She said that strict actions have been taken to control pollution generated from industrial waste and brick kilns, as a result of which dozens of industrial units and kilns were sealed while heavy fines were also imposed on many who did not implement government policies and showed stubbornness.
