
The Penn State Shenango men’s basketball team dropped a 67-61 decision on Saturday at Penn State Greater Allegheny in White Oak, Pa.
Shenango (6-8 PSUAC, 10-12) trailed 36-32 at halftime and were outscored 36-31 in the second half.
Jordan Poole had 18 points and six assists for Greater Allegheny, Elijah Hannon posted a 17-point, 15-rebound double-double, Biagio Crossley had 12 points, and Xavier Gaffney added a dozen points and seven boards.
Izzy Santiago led Penn State Shenango with 18 points, Kevon Washington scored 13, and Darius Williams contributed 12 points, seven rebounds, and dished out four assists.
Women: Shenango (5-8, 6-12) received a 2-0 forfeit from Greater Allegheny.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster women’s basketball team suffered an 82-53 setback to Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Washington & Jefferson Saturday inside the Salvitti Family Gymnasium.
Westminster fell to 7-14 overall and 4-8 in the league after its third-straight loss Saturday.
Junior Grace Cano (Greenville High) led the Titans with 10 points. It was her 14th-straight game scoring in double figures. Sophomore Katie Maryo hit three three-pointers in the loss to give her a PAC-best 54 this season.
Riley DeRubbo led W&J with 17 points.
Trailing 69-36 after three quarters, Westminster used a 13-0 fourth quarter run to cut the deficit to 23, 72-49, capped by sophomore Maddie Syka’s three-pointer with 5:42 to play.
The Presidents scored 29 points off the Titans’ 26 turnovers. Westminster finished with a 43-36 rebounding edge.
Westminster will travel to Hiram (7-14, 4-8 PAC) Wednesday for a pivotal PAC North matchup. Tipoff from Price Gymnasium is set for 5:30 p.m. The Titans earned a 63-61 victory over the Terriers in New Wilmington on Jan. 14.
