The month-long tournament, hosted annually by GGPoker in partnership with World Series of Poker, drew a total of 5,961 unique entries to generate a staggering $28,314,750, easily earning it place among the largest online poker tournaments of all time, behind only the 2023 and 2024 editions that featured prize pools of $28.6 million and $28.5 million, respectively.
Bencb secured a hard-fought victory at the 2025 event after an intense heads-up battle against Anatoly Zlotnikov, capturing the $3.9 million top prize.
That victory makes him the second CoinPoker ambassador to win the prestigious title in the last three years, a feat that underscores the platform’s growing influence and prestige on the global poker stage.
Recall that in the 2023 edition, Bert “girafganger” Stevens, another ambassador of the poker room, won the title after defeating a tough field that included Yagen Li and Ezequiel Kleinman.
After an eight-place finish at the 2024 WSOP Online Main Event, which earned him $651,921, Bencb returned to the same table in 2025 for another shot at glory.
Interestingly, this time around, he held the chip lead and never let go, navigating all the hiccups in his way to close out his win and secure the coveted WSOP gold bracelet.
Nine players, including Bencb, Anatoly Zlotnikov, Daniel Smiljkovic, Santiago Plante, and Andreas Christoforou, made it to the final table, which was streamed live on GGPoker TV with commentary from 17-time WSOP bracelet winner Phil Hellmuth and Jeff Gross.
Zlotnikov held a slim chip lead at the start, but it didn’t last long as Bencb took control of the game. And in the final hand of the battle, Bencb moved all-in from the big blind with KQ suited, relegating Zlotnikov to second place to claim the trophy.
This victory marks another major title for him in 2025, further demonstrating the effectiveness of his skills at the highest level of online poker.
Recall that earlier in the year, he shipped a Bitcoin themed “CoinMasters” title and a substantial $17,954.50 prize on CoinPoker, becoming the third ambassador of the poker room to achieve the feat.
