Coinbase launches XRP futures, while the WeWake presale crypto enters its 5th stage with strong demand and a published whitepaper.
Coinbase has announced the launch of nano XRP perpetual futures, expanding institutional access to XRP. The product will go live on August 18 through Coinbase Derivatives. At the same time, the WeWake presale crypto is attracting high demand, priced at $0.0160 in its fifth stage, and its whitepaper has been released.
Coinbase confirmed that nano XRP perpetual futures will be available to U.S. investors. Each contract represents 500 XRP and is cash-settled. The contracts will trade from Friday evenings to Friday afternoons and will automatically list through 2030.
Coinbase Derivatives LLC, registered with the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), will manage the contracts. This launch builds on Coinbase’s earlier move in April when it filed to self-certify XRP futures. The platform also introduced two monthly XRP futures products, and the upcoming perpetual contracts extend this offering for institutional traders.
These futures are designed to provide margin trading access, capital efficiency, and risk management for participants. Coinbase has confirmed that the listing will begin mid-August and will remain available for five years.
The WeWake presale crypto is advancing quickly as it enters its fifth stage at a price of $0.0160. The whitepaper for WeWake has been published, outlining a walletless, gasless Layer 2 blockchain that simplifies onboarding for users and developers.
WeWake uses zk-rollup technology and ERC-4337 smart wallets, removing the need for seed phrases or manual wallet setups. Users can log in through Google or Telegram and access Web3 in seconds.
