The system has been deployed across 16 central government ministries and 27 state-owned enterprises, replacing foreign blockchain technology that previously dominated Chinese applications, Dong Jin, a blockchain researcher and the head of Beijing Academy of Blockchain and Edge Computing told a media briefing Thursday on the sidelines of the National People’s Congress.
