Multiple crashes across Perth have caused peak-hour traffic chaos for commuters.
A collision between a truck and three cars on Tonkin Highway southbound has reduced the road to a single lane at Great Eastern Highway in Redcliffe.
Five St John vehicles are at the scene and fuel is spilled across the road.
Video from the scene showing cars stopped in the far left lane and the far right lane.
The crash — which happened about 4.30pm — has caused major congestion in the area and motorists have been urged to exercise extreme caution.
Another crash on Guildford Road in Mount Lawley has caused heavy traffic in the area.
The crash which happened just before 4pm forced the closure of the eastbound road just after first avenue.
The road was re-opened at 4.30pm.
More to come.
