Chainlink expands into AI and banking, offering tools for developers and enabling cross-chain transactions with institutions like JPMorgan.
Blockchain platform WEMIX has officially partnered with Chainlink as its main partner and made CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol) the only cross-chain solution used in their ecosystem.
While crypto projects usually rely on various bridges or protocols for transfers between networks, WEMIX chooses a single path that they believe is the safest and most stable — and yes, that is Chainlink’s CCIP.
With this integration, users can now send USDC stablecoins directly from Ethereum to WEMIX3.0 without the need for wrapping. The process is carried out directly and automatically. The result? Transactions are much faster, with minimal risk, and no need to worry about security holes in centralized bridges that are often easy targets for hackers.
Furthermore, it’s not just regular USDC that is supported. Chainlink CCIP also facilitates a burn-and-mint mechanism for USDC.e, allowing stablecoins to be burned on one network and minted on the WEMIX network.

For WEMIX, which has been known for its focus on blockchain-based gaming, this step can be said to be very strategic. With the presence of USDC and USDC.e which can be transferred directly and securely, game developers can create an in-game economic system that is more realistic, stable, and acceptable to the global market.
