
CertiK, a company that specializes in blockchain security, has noticed suspicious activity with OLAXBT’s AIO token. According to the security firm, almost 32 million AIO tokens were withdrawn from the project’s multisig and sold for more than $2 million.
The firm has advised all the users to stay vigilant in its statement on X. It shared that AIOs “were withdrawn from multisigs to 0xec75a0bb45a07f6e23760c7fe8fcb2408a74348c.”
The OLAXBT bot is an AI-powered trading agent on the OLAXBT platform, which employs a Model Context Protocol (MCP) to trade cryptocurrencies in a decentralized way. The bot employs reinforcement learning to look at market data, keep track of mood, and make trades automatically.
Many experts are anticipating that the incident might be the first of many cryptocurrency hacks this month. Concerns around hacks have mounted due to a drastic surge in the number of cryptocurrency hacks worldwide. The month of August this year saw the highest number of cryptocurrency-related hacks, amounting to over $163 million being stolen. The amount represents a 27.2% rise compared to June 2025, which recorded a $111.6 million loss.
