
CEDAR FALLS — City Council members will discuss approving a contract for Water’s Edge to develop a Falls Aquatic Center enhancement plan.
The plan will include an assessment of the current facility, a market analysis, a stakeholder meeting and more. The cost of developing the plan is just less than $27,500.
Council members will also consider an ordinance prohibiting parking on portions of Bluff Street.
The council will also revisit the topics of forms of government and the next steps in hiring a new city administrator.

The 2025 bridge maintenance project located on West 18th, Main and Center streets; Cottage Row Road and the Mayors Pedestrian Bridge. The estimated cost of the project is just under $460,000.The authorization of a loan and disbursement agreement and the issuance of no more than $11,000 sewer revenue capital loan notes. The funds will be used to pay for the design of the water reclamation facility improvements project. The notes will be payable out of revenue collected in the sewer revenue fund.A request to vacate a utility easement at 2407 Willow Lane.
