
A casualty has been airlifted to a children’s hospital after being hit by a vehicle. The incident happened this afternoon at Greenfield, Holywell.
The collision took place on a residential street just off Greenfield Road at around 4pm.
Police and the ambulance service responded with reports of numerous police vehicles descending on the scene.
The Wales Air Ambulance landed on a field next to the Greenfield youth club.
It later left the scene and flew to Alder Hey children’s hospital in Liverpool.

Police have remained in the areas as an investigation is launched.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 4.02pm by colleagues from WAST to a road traffic collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle on a residential street just off Greenfield Road in Greenfield.
“Officers attended alongside colleagues from Helimed.”
