Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Olayemi Cardoso, and other top industry leaders are set to address shareholders and policymakers at the eighth Triennial Delegates Conference of the Independent Shareholders Association of Nigeria (ISAN).
The conference, with the theme, “Nigeria, Towards $1 Trillion Economy by 2030,” scheduled to hold on October 30, 2025, in Lagos will focus on Nigeria’s economic growth agenda and explore pathways to achieving a $1 trillion economy within the next five years.
Key figures from the financial sector, regulatory agencies, and the organised private sector are to discuss fiscal, monetary, and policy strategies for sustainable growth.
ISAN’s National Coordinator, Moses Igbrude explained that the triennial conference would attract delegates from ISAN’s operational zones across the country as well as stakeholders from various sectors of the economy. He added that the conference aligns with ISAN’s longstanding commitment to promoting sound economic policies and strengthening the Nigerian capital market through constructive engagements with government and regulators.
“We are actively involved in advising the government on policies relevant to the nation’s economy, more especially the capital market,” Igbrude stated.
Igbrude further noted that as part of its commitment, the association consistently organised conferences and seminars aimed at educating government officials, industry players, and the investing public on issues of economic significance.
“Such conferences and seminars attract world-class speakers, professionals, top government functionaries, capital market bodies, captains of industries and regulators,” he added.
Other notable speakers include the Commissioner for Insurance, Olusegun Ayo Omosehin; President of the Information Security Society of Africa-Nigeria, Martin Ikpehai; and the President and Chairman of Council, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), Gabriel Idahosa.
