The initiative aims to leverage Binance’s 170 million user base to drive mass adoption and developer growth ahead of the Chang hardfork completion in Q1 2026.
The Cardano Foundation has announced a strategic alliance with Binance Academy to release “Cardano Fundamentals,” an extensive educational curriculum aimed at demystifying the blockchain for both retail newcomers and technical developers.
“Cardano Fundamentals” is designed as a free, multi-language resource available in over 10 languages (including Vietnamese). It follows the successful model Binance Academy established with Bitcoin and Ethereum, offering interactive quizzes and digital certification upon completion.
The curriculum is split into three core pillars:
The partnership comes at a critical juncture for the network. With Total Value Locked (TVL) in DeFi surpassing $1 billion and developer activity up 40% year-to-date, Cardano is racing to solidify its position against high-speed competitors like Solana and Sui.
By tapping into Binance Academy’s ecosystem – which has previously educated over 10 million users – Cardano aims to attract 1 million new users in 2026. The timing aligns with the finalization of the Chang hardfork (expected Q1 2026), which will fully activate the Voltaire era of decentralized governance.
Beyond simple awareness, the program is designed to create a funnel for active ecosystem participants. Graduates of the developer track will be eligible for specific hackathons and bounty programs, directly incentivizing the creation of new dApps.
For tokenomics, the Foundation expects the course to boost on-chain metrics, specifically staking participation (currently at roughly 65% of circulating supply) and voter turnout in Catalyst funding rounds.
The course launches this week on both Binance Academy and Cardano.org, featuring a special guest lecture by founder Charles Hoskinson.
